It is with immense sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Speed Quest. This decision was not made lightly, and we want to take a moment to share our journey with you, as well as the unfortunate circumstances that have led to this outcome.

Speed Quest was originally founded in 2022 by a family passionate about bringing a premier go-karting experience to our community. With an investment of $1.5 million, they spared no expense in creating a world-class facility, featuring FIA Grade 1 barriers, precision-tuned karts, and a track designed to provide an unmatched racing experience. From day one, the goal was to create a space where both casual drivers and enthusiasts alike could feel the thrill of high-performance karting in a safe, well-maintained, and exciting environment.

As the original management team, we had the privilege of overseeing day-to-day operations and witnessing firsthand the joy and excitement Speed Quest brought to so many. When the opportunity arose to take over the business, we stepped up with the hopes of turning things around and ensuring its longevity. We poured our hearts, time, and resources into revitalizing Speed Quest, working tirelessly to keep the doors open and create an experience that was not just about racing but about building a community.

Despite our best efforts, the economic reality of running a high-cost motorsports facility proved to be a challenge. While we fought to increase revenue and keep up with mounting expenses, the unexpected TSSA (Technical Standards and Safety Authority) mandates forced us into an interim suspension of operations. This, in turn, led to preemptive action based on unclear negotiated terms with our landlord that further crippled our ability to operate. The TSSA issue became the nail in the coffin, solidifying the difficult decision we now face.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who supported Speed Quest—our loyal racers, families, event organizers, and everyone who walked through our doors to share in our passion. Your enthusiasm and encouragement kept us pushing forward even through the toughest of times.

For those who have prepaid bookings, we want to assure you that refunds will be processed. As we no longer have access to the facility, we kindly ask for your patience as we work diligently to retrieve the necessary records and complete the refund process. We are personally handling these refunds and will be issuing them as funds become available. This is a challenging time for us, but we are committed to doing the right thing for our customers.

The original owners may have struggled to keep this facility thriving, but we took over with the hope of giving it a new life. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we must now say goodbye.
